It is with much sadness we announce that Judith “Judy” Ann Muise, 91, has passed away peacefully surrounded by family on August 20th, 2013. She was born in Springhaven, Yarmouth County, and spent most of her life in Weymouth. She was a daughter of the late Simeon and Edna (Fitzgerald) Doucette. Judy was a member of St. Joseph’s CWL Weymouth and New Horizons Club. She was an avid reader, card player, and knitter. She enjoyed children, meeting friends at Frenchys, and the Royal Family. Judy is survived by daughter, Carol (Gordon) Viher, Alta; sons, Allan (Tina) Muise, Concession; Ronald Muise, Weymouth; grandchildren, Caran (Don) McCreary, Steven (Donna) Magaw, Teresa Magaw, Linda (Michael) Hopp, Alisa (Gerald) Trembecki, Chanda (John) Tanguay, Jeffrey Muise; 13 great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters, Isabelle Eastwood, Ont; Antoinette LeBlanc, Lower Eel Brook; brothers, Roger (Mary Rose) Doucette, Yarmouth; Kenneth (Gertrude) Doucette, Dayton; Enos (Nettie) Doucette, Springhaven and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband, Camille; sisters, Rita, Madeline; brothers, Bernard, Phillip, Louis, Steven, William and granddaughter, Pamela. Judy was fortunate to have lived a good, long life and to see five generations. Visitation 2-4 and 7-9, Friday August 23rd at Jaynes Funeral Home, Weymouth (245-2525) with cremation to follow. Funeral Mass at 11am, Monday August 26th at St Joseph’s Catholic Church, Weymouth. Father Henry Smolenarrs presiding. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or charity of choice.
