Her rocking chair now sits silent, as our hearts are broken to announce the passing of Janette Belliveau on March 31, 2024. She was born on March 4, 1946, to parents Andrew and Elsie Melanson of Ashmore. Janette was a beautiful, selfless woman who devoted her life to caring for her family and her grandchildren. Once her family were grown up , she spent most of her working career at Weymouth Foodland. She ended her working years caring for her granddaughter. She loved family gatherings, baking, and the beach. She is survived by her spouse Harry; her children, Tim (Joyce), Tracie (Brian), Christine (Glenn); siblings, Margaret, Betty, Reta, Dora, Flora, Nancy and Robert; grandchildren, Spencer and Allie. She was predeceased by her former husband, Allen Belliveau; brothers, Eldon, David, and sister Alvey. Funeral service will be 11am Monday, April 15, 2024 from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Weymouth. Donations in memory can be made to the Nova Scotia Lung Association.
