Arline Edith Manzer

Manzer, (Cosman) Arline Edith, age 91 of Ashmore, passed away at Digby General Hospital on February 28, 2023. Born in Riverdale, she was a daughter of the late Melbourne and Ethel (Balcom) Cosman. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She moved to Weymouth at an early age, where she lived and attended school until 1952 when she married Fred Manzer and moved to Ashmore, where she lived until January 24, 2023. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Weymouth. She is survived by her sons Brian (Darlene), Digby; Owen (Nancy), Ashmore; daughters Cindy (Charles) Andrews, Port Maitland; Joyce (Vernon), Lower Sackville; Susan (Todd) Hartling, Middle Musquodoboit; grandchildren Kevin (Heather), Karen, Ivan (Amber), Jillian (Joey), Natalie, Katrina, Erica (Mark), Adam great grandchildren Lucas, Amira, Elianna and Alexander. She was predeceased by her husband Fred Manzer; sister, Marion Sabine; brothers, Wilfred, Clyde, Ralph, and Malcolm. No visitation or service as requested by Arline. A private family burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Weymouth North. Donations in memory can be made in Arline’s name can go to the charity of your choice. Thank you to the RN’s, LPN’s and the CCA’s of Digby General Hospital who cared for Arline, the family, greatly appreciated your care. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Jayne’s Funeral Home, Weymouth North.
