Ronald "Ron" Ralph Sherman

Ron was predeceased by his parents, Ralph and Marjorie Sherman and his brother, Neil Sherman.

Ron will be lovingly cherished by his daughter, Teresa (Andre) Bergen of Yellow Grass, SK; son, Bryan (Erin) Sherman of Milestone, SK; daughter, Monica (Carter) Steer of Yellow Grass, SK; grandchildren, Eddie and Mica Steer; brother, Garnet Sherman of Theodore, SK; sister, Michelle (Dave) Ferris of Weyburn, SK; sister in law, Brenda Sherman of Regina, SK; nieces and nephews, Chad, Natasha, Jason, Stephanie, Nate, Josh and their families as well as many friends.

Ron was born and raised in Milestone, SK. In his younger years he spent time showing horses, drawing, playing hockey and enjoying the outdoors. At the age of 17 he began driving the school bus, he drove for 51 years. He joined his parents and brother, Neil, working at their family business, The Milestone Meat Market. Ron spent his days cutting meat and evenings butchering until 2018. With his Dad, Ralph, and brothers, Neil and Garnet, they farmed SE of Milestone. He loved to hunt and fish and spend time with his family. He will be missed.

A Celebration of Ron’s Life took place on Saturday, January 13, 2024 from 2:00 pm ~ 4:00 pm at the Milestone Masonic Hall, Milestone, Saskatchewan. Interment will take place at a later date in Milestone Cemetery, Milestone, Saskatchewan.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Ron’s memory may be made to the Palliative Care Unit ~ 3A at the Pasqua Hospital at 4101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, SK S4T 1A5.
