Tony Christian Reali

Tony C. Reali, 65, of Wethersfield, beloved husband of Rosanna (Giuliani) Reali, passed away peacefully with his family by his side after a long illness on Sunday, September 8, 2024. Born in Canicattini Bagni, province of Siracusa, Sicily on March 30, 1959, he was the loving son of Concetta (Cianci) Reali and the late Giuseppe Reali. Tony came to the U.S. in 1969 settling in Hartford’s South End. He quickly began following his passion for music, singing at the age of ten. During his career he played with several bands throughout New England. True “south enders” will always remember Tony playing at the annual Franklin Avenue Festival.

Tony was an avid fan of Juventus F.C. soccer and enjoyed all the Italian singers. He especially was devoted to his family, enjoying time spent together with them.

In addition to his wife and mother, Tony will be forever missed by his two brothers, Paul Reali and Robert Reali, both of Hartford; his stepchildren, Luca Aparo and Jessica Aparo and her husband Francesco Tata; his two step-grandchildren, Jamie and Julian Tata; his daughter, Daniela Reali, his niece Dannea Elisa Reali O’Connell and her husband Patrick; two grandsons, Joseph and Vincent Reali, two nephews Alexander and Joseph Reali his wife Natasha Reali and great-nephew Ashton Giuseppe O’Connell.

Tony’s family would like to thanks to everyone in the community for your endless support and prayers.

The Funeral Service will be Monday, September 23rd at 11 a.m. at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Boulevard, Wethersfield. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, September 22nd from 1-5 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
