Juan de Dios Robles Cruz

Juan De Dios Robles Cruz, 92, beloved husband of the late Felicita E. Reyes Vasquez, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2024. Born in Cidra, Puerto Rico, March 7, 1932, he was the son of the late Gregorio Robles and Modesta Cruz. Juan worked for many years at the CT Regional Market and Royal Typewriter Company. Juan was a devout Catholic. Most of all he was a cherished family man. In addition, he enjoyed gardening in the summer sun.

A loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Juan will be forever missed by his four sons, Juan F., Edwin, Gregorio, and Pedro Robles; ten adored grandchildren, Juan E. Rosado, Sharmila Rosado, Luz E. Rosado, Samara E. Robles, Antonio Robles, Cristina Robles, Ricardo Robles, Juan F. Robles, Johnathan Robles; as well as five great grandchildren, Malik A. Guerrero, Imani E. Rosado, Madison N. Perez, Niko A. Vega, and Arielle V. Robles. In addition, he is survived by two brothers, Francisco Robles Cruz and Jorge Cruz, along with many dear nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Juan is sadly predeceased by his beloved daughter, Luz E. Rosado and grandson Gregorio Robles.

The family will receive, relatives and friends at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Boulevard, Wethersfield, Tuesday, December 17 from 9:45 – 10:45 am; followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 am in Maria Reina de la Paz (St. Lawrence O’Toole) Church, 494 New Britain Avenue, Hartford.

Inurnment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
