Gaetano “Guy” Carducci, 59, of Rocky Hill, beloved husband of Stacy (Vardilos) Carducci, went home to Jesus on April 9, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Guy was born in Hartford on August 23, 1964 to Aldo and Anna (Treviso) Carducci.
Guy was truly a family man. A value that his parents instilled in him at an early age. He was supportive of all of his children’s goals and pursuits - especially athletics in their youth and their career ambitions, as they grew older. His first passion, above all else, was spending time with his children and grandchildren. Stacy was the love of his life and together they raised five beautiful children who they are very proud of today.
Guy will be sadly missed by his wife, parents, and children, Danny Carducci and his wife Franchesca; Joey Carducci and his wife Tatiana; Nick, Jason, and Jessica Carducci. He also leaves his cherished grandchildren, Capriana, Damon, Julian, Cameron, and Alessi. Additionally, Guy is survived by his siblings, Paula Torcia and her husband Tom, Emilia Ott and her husband Chris, Lucy Casasanta and her husband Chris, Aldo Carducci, Jr. and his wife Erin, his brother-in-law Steven Vardilos and his wife Delker and his sister-in-law Sherrie Vardilos.
Along with his family, his second passion was being on the golf course at Wethersfield Country Club. His competitiveness and charismatic personality attracted many like-minded, loyal friends. Beyond golf, he had many circles of friends that he truly cherished and created countless memories with throughout the years.
Matching his charisma was his relentless work ethic and career success. He was the co-owner and operator of AC Automotive in West Hartford along with his father and brother. Together, they created a thriving business that flourished over several decades and is a landmark in the community.
