Stanley Kaminski left this world peacefully; on November 21, 2024. He was 89 years old. He is survived by his wife Sheila (Fitzgerald) Kaminski, his son Kevin Kaminski of Toms River, NJ and his son David Kaminski of Tappan, NY. He was predeceased by his son Steven.
Stan was born in New Britain, CT. He was a Veteran of the Korean War, serving honorably in the Air Force. He graduated from Central Connecticut State College and taught in the New Britain school system. He left teaching to enter the business world. Working at General Electric as a buyer; and later at Ethyl Corporation; at which time the family moved from Connecticut to New Jersey. Stan eventually founded his own business, Neural Therapies.
In 1981, Stan was led to the program, where he found his heart's desire, of learning how to live a joyful, spiritual way of life and helping others to find the path as well. Stan was a quiet man, yet others seem to know that they could approach him, and he would have the words that would quiet their heart.
As Sheila's private practice grew larger, Stan left his own business and stepped in to manage the business end of her practice. Continuing to enable others to pursue finding a healthier, more joyous way of living; despite life's up and downs. Stan loved the game of golf. He was a member of the Old Tappan Golf Club. He enjoyed the outdoors, and the friendships made during those years.
During his and Sheila's many trips to Florida, Stan to continue to play golf and enjoyed making new friends.
Stan's dignity and humility was paramount in his lack of complaining through this last 2 years of ill health and the missing of his friends from the meetings. His warmth and humor will be missed by many.
The family will receive guests at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Rd., Westwood, NJ on Tuesday, November 26th from 3-7PM. A Memorial service will take place at Our Lady Of The Sacred Heart R.C. Church in Tappan, NY on Wednesday, November 27th at 10AM. Memorial contributions can be made in Stanley's name to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital @ StJude.org/donate
