Mary A. Vion

Mary is survived by her daughters Mary Lou Swayne and her husband, Jimmy of Sarasota, FL; Susan DeJacomo of Woodland Township, NJ; Charlene Alessi of Westwood, NJ and Donna Mulligan and her husband, Joe of Monroe, NY; her 12 grandchildren, Danielle, Dina, Cheryl, Christina, Monica, Joe, Thomas, Matthew, Steven, Kevin, Danny and Brian, and her 7 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Butch and his wife Pat, and many nieces and nephews.

Mary is predeceased by her loving husband Charles and her brother, Julius.

Mary retired from Pascack Valley hospital where she was a Pediatric Head nurse. She started her nursing career at St. Mary’s Hospital in Passaic. Mary was a former volunteer at Valley Hospital as a Eucharistic Minister and was a volunteer school nurse at OLGC. Mary was blessed with good health and enjoyed annual family getaways in Lake George. God called her home the evening of an early Christmas celebration with her family at her home.

The family will receive guests at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road., Westwood, NJ, December 14th from 3-7PM. A Mass celebrating Mary's life and faith will be held at Our Lady of Good Counsel R.C. Church in Township of Washington, NJ on Friday, December 15th at 11:30 AM with interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ.
