Mary Ellen Wallace

WALLACE, MaryEllen, 89, of Woodcliff Lake, NJ, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Monday, March 14, 2016. She was born in Dumont, NJ to Giacomo and Josephine D’Angelo. Beloved wife of 64 years to Theodore J. Wallace, Sr. Devoted mother of MaryEllen Boccellari and her husband John, Michael Wallace and Elena Ferrante and the late Theodore J. Wallace, Jr. Dear sister of Margie Ferriera. She is predeceased by her sisters and brothers; Jenny Monaco, Louise Grazioso, Philomena Lanzana, Virginia Pinkowski, Louis, William, August and Jack D’Angelo. Loving grandmother of John Boccellari and his wife Sharon, Michelle Burns and her husband Leroy, Nicole Boccellari and Alex Washington. Cherished great grandmother of Alexander, Isabella and Giuliana. She was a graduate of Dumont High School. MaryEllen worked as a Special Education School Bus Driver for 30 years and worked as a bookkeeper for T & M Landscaping. She was a parishioner of Our Lady Mother of the Church, Woodcliff Lake, NJ, a member of the SMA Fathers, the Catholic Daughters, and a former parishioner of St. Mary’s Church, Dumont, NJ. The family will receive their relatives and friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Thursday, March 17 from 2-4 and 7-9PM. The Funeral Mass celebrating MaryEllen’s life and faith will be held at Our Lady Mother of the Church, 209 Woodcliff Avenue, Woodcliff Lake, NJ on Friday, March 18 at 10:30AM.
