Joseph Frank Accardi

ACCARDI, Joseph, 86, of Dumont, NJ, formerly of Oradell, NJ, passed away Saturday, June 24th, 2017. Joe is survived by his beloved wife Margie (nee Bacher); children John and his wife Linda, Randy, Patricia Csapo and her husband Douglas and Lori Stroh and her husband Tom; his grandchildren Johnny and his wife Keri, Jessica and her husband Eric, Nicholas, Jimmy, Gina Boyd and her husband Dave, Maggie and Paige as well as his great-grandson Dexter. Joe devoutly served with the Oradell Fire Department for over 20 years and most recently worked as a Sales Representative for Holman Moving Systems. Joe was an avid rider and collector of motorcycles. He will always be known for his great sense of humor and warm heart for his friends and family; he will be dearly missed. The family will receive guests at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9PM. A celebration of life will be held during the evening hours with private cremation to follow. Joe had a strong affection for his four-legged friends and requested to have memorial contributions to be made in his name to the Ramapo Bergen Animal Refuge, 2 Shelter Lane, Oakland, NJ 07436.
