It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Father Jose “Pepe” O’Neill, who left us on December 14, 2024, at the age of 82. Jose is survived by his three children Jose, Erick and his wife Dana, and Damari and her husband Amid; his grandchildren Ashlee, Colton, Alexander, Amanda, Adam, Hannah; and Great Grandchild Nicolas. He was a cherished friend and a kind soul to all who knew him. He was a long-time member of the American Legion and The Elks. All will deeply miss him.
The family will receive friends for visitation at Becker Funeral home in Westwood, New Jersey on Thursday, December 19, 2024, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 with a prayer service at 6:30 PM followed by the West Milford Elks at 7:00 p.m. All are welcome to attend and honor his memory. Though we are deeply saddened by our father’s passing, we know that there are many who are happy to see him again. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer a donation to “The Wounded Warrior Project”.
