Joan Ann Carey

CAREY, Joan Ann (nee Edwards), of Toms River, NJ, formerly of River Vale, NJ passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Arthur T. Carey. Devoted mother of Arthur R. Carey and his wife JoAnn, Judy DeLuca and her husband Patrick, Thomas W. Carey and his wife Ella, Steven J. Carey and his wife Lorraine, Donna M. Yakalis and her husband Peter, and Doreen Raymond and her husband Todd. She is also survived by her twin sister Jane Finan. Loving grandmother of Jarrod, Lindsay, Patrick, Danielle, Kristen, Sean, Caitlyn, Adam, Alyssa, Megan, Samantha, Billy, Amanda, Tyler, Colleen and Nicole. Cherished great-grandmother of Sophia, Peyton, Jake, Joseph, Nicholas, Eleni and Leo. The family will receive family and friends on Sunday from 2-6PM at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ. The Funeral Mass celebrating Joan’s life and faith will be celebrated at St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Hillsdale, NJ on Monday at 12:30PM.
