EMERSON - Frank Luongo, 69, of Montclair, NJ formerly of Emerson, NJ passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 2, 2023. Frank was a devoted son of Anthony and Mary Luongo, who predeceased him. Frank is the father of Amy Ortiz, and grandfather of Carol Ann Ortiz-Jones. He also leaves behind his brother Joseph Luongo (Lynne), sisters Jean Pellegrino (Fausto) and Mary Ann Jones (John). Frank was the nephew of Mrs. Jean Kusnic. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, Jennifer Jones, Matthew Luongo, Lisa Luongo-Emeric (Enrique), Frank Pellegrino (Sheryl) and Thomas Pellegrino. Frank was born in Hackensack, NJ and graduated from Emerson Junior Senior High School, Emerson, NJ where he lived for the majority of his life.
Frank was an accomplished motorcycle mechanic and an avid billiards (pool) player who designed pool cues. Visitation will be private with a Memorial Mass celebrated on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at Assumption Roman Catholic Church, 29 Jefferson Avenue, Emerson, NJ.
