Dolores H. D'Anna

Mrs. Dolores D’Anna, age 82 of Leesburg, VA passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2012. Dolores was born on March 7, 1929 in Jersey City, NJ. She was a daughter of the late Raymond Ferdon and the late Violet Battista. Dolores was raised in NJ, and was a retired bookkeeper. In 2004 Dolores moved to Timber Pines Retirement Community in Spring Hill, FL. She became a member of the Red Hats Social Group and traveled extensively during her retirement. In the last year, she moved to Sunrise Assisted Living in Sterling, VA, to be closer to family. She attended Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church while living at Sunrise. Dolores was predeceased by her husband Alfred Joseph D’Anna in 1990. She is survived by her daughter Patricia & Timothy Hill of Lansdowne, VA; and 2 grandsons, TJ and Christopher. A memorial gathering will be held Becker Funeral Home on March 10th from 10:30 to 11:30am. A memorial service will be held at 11:30am with the interment of cremated remains to follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Hackensack, NJ.
