Dolores “Dee” Allen, 76 years old of River Vale, NJ passed away on January 7, 2015. Dolores was born in the Bronx, NY and lived in Montvale, NJ before moving to River Vale in 1988. Dolores worked at Suffern High School in Suffern, NY as an English teacher for 30 years before retiring in 2000. She was known for her keen intellect and was a member of Mensa.
She was predeceased by her parents, David and June (Sperle) Dielmann and is survived by her daughter, Melissa Dielmann and her fiancé Ralph Cerenzio; her grandson, David Sneath and many loving cousins and friends.
Funeral from the Becker Funeral Home on Monday 9am with a 10am funeral mass at St. John the Baptist Church, Hillsdale, NJ. A private cremation will follow. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday 2-6pm at the funeral home.
