Barbara Ann Mancuso

Barbara Mancuso nee Kamiensky, 86, of Township of Washington, NJ, daughter of Genevieve and Joseph Kamiensky, passed away on July 19, 2023. Born on March 6, 1937 in Jersey City, NJ, Barbara attended Saint Aloysius, High School in Jersey City.

Barbara worked in the River Vale, NJ school district for over 20 years before retiring in 1999. Since then she enjoyed playing bridge with lifelong friends in northern Jersey, summer weekends at the Jersey Shore with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, and winters in Vero Beach, FL. where she and her husband Joe relished spending time with dear friends

Barbara was predeceased by her beloved husband of 60 years, Joseph Mancuso, parents Genevieve and Joseph Kamiensky, sister Janet Buchalski, and brother Fr. Joseph Kamiensky SJ. Barbara is survived by her five children Stephen and husband Chris, Michael and wife Jeanne, Barbara Scerbo and husband Joe, Susan Vicchio and husband Nick, and Richard and wife Jane; her grandchildren, Joseph and wife Dana, Kristen Gorman and husband Connor, Jessica Leonard and husband Jeff, Nicolas, Kevin, Michael, Scott and wife Catherine, Janie Claywell and husband Alex, Timothy, Julia, Michael, Joseph and Richard Dominick; her great grandchildren, Harper, Hudson, Braylee, Cole, Joey, and the newest additions to the family born last month, twins Trace and Beckett (Beck); and her loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive family and friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Sunday, July 23rd from 2 – 5PM. The funeral mass celebrating Barbara’s life and faith will be held at Our Lady of Good Counsel R.C., Township of Washington, NJ Church on Monday, July 24th at 10:00AM with interment at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, NJ to follow.
