Robert Lee Boswell

Robert Lee Boswell “Bob”, 84, passed away peacefully at home on August 4th, 2019. Bob was born on January 16, 1935 in Los Angeles, to William “Doc” and Nancy Boswell. He was a 1953 Huntington Beach grad and went on to play football for the University of Southern California. In 1955 he was wed to Martha Jeanette Kraft. After working for California Electric Service and General Electric; in 1970 he became a small business owner with friend Howard Hawley, in the purchase of Industrial Electric Service. He became sole owner in 1990 and the business flourished under his leadership. Then in 1973 Robert married Olive Jeannine “O.J.” Huff. Bob loved to travel, hunt, fish, play cards watch sports and spend time with his family and friends. Moments with his family and friends meant the world to him....he was a family man extraordinaire! Helping grandkids with their college education and taking the family on trips around world were definitely a legacy he cherished. He was a true super-fan, supporting his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren in all their endeavors. Bob is survived by his 7 children, 9 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. His “Celebration of Life” is scheduled on August 30, 2019 at SeaCliff Country Club in Huntington Beach, at 10:30am.
