Huntington Beach – Nguyễn Thị Điểm, 92, died peacefully after a hemorrhagic stroke, on Tuesday, June 4th, 2024, at home in Huntington Beach, CA. Mrs. Điểm was born on February 20, 1932, in Phát Diệm, Ninh Bình, Vietnam. Her father, Đỗ Văn Thưởng, was 58, and her mother, Hoàng Thị Cửu, was 38. In addition to her husband of over 70 years, Nguyễn Phi Bằng, she is survived by daughter Nguyễn Thị Trang of Huntington Beach, son Nguyễn Thiên Phụng and his wife Cynthia Bullis Nguyễn of Pleasant Valley, NY, daughter Anna Nguyễn & Nguyễn Thị Thu Trang of Austin, TX, and son Nguyễn Hải Au & Mary Emerson of Portland, OR. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Laurel Nguyễn and her husband Brendan Hickey of Alexandria, VA, and Blake Nguyễn and his wife Kaitlyn Briggs.
