Danny Ta'alolo Pa'u, beloved father, brother, son, uncle, and husband, went home to be with both his earthly and heavenly father on Sunday, September 8, 2024. He was born on October 20, 1960 in Long Beach, CA to the late Ta’alolomana Punimatagi Pa’u and Maria Loini Pa’u.
Danny is survived by his son, Punimatagi Niue Pa’u, and daughter, Pearlyshell Tupou Pa’u; Mother, Maria L. Pa’u; Siblings, Ta’alolomana P. Pa’u, Jr., Puni T. Pa’u, Sonny T. Pa’u, Hanna T. Pa’u, Billy T. Pa’u, Amy L. Hayes Grosso; and Spouse, Tualeshell Pa’u.
Danny was raised with polynesian roots in the U.S. that influenced his generous spirit, strong work ethic and sense of family. He carried these values into every aspect of his life, becoming a pillar of support for those around him in his professional and personal journeys. The eldest of 7 siblings, Danny was hyper aware of his responsibility to lead by example. He had a passionate and wise soul which not only made him a great leader, but even better friend to many. He eventually made his way to live, work, and create a family in American Samoa and return back to the U.S. His legacy was that of solidarity in both character and integrity, and especially having his 2 kids: son, Puni and daughter, Pearlyshell.
Danny’s legacy will live on in the lives of those he touched. His kindness, dedication to his roots, and unwavering love for his family will never be forgotten. “Love ya Danny!”
A service to celebrate his life will be held on Tuesday, October 8 at 6:00pm at Westminster Memorial Park Mortuary in Westminster, California (14801 Beach Blvd). Viewing preceding from 5:00pm. – 6:00pm.
