With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Charlene Rose Marie Ann Sciamanna, who left us on August 18, 2024, at the age of 65. Charlene, known for her honesty, straightforwardness, and profound kindness, has left a legacy of compassion and positive change that will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Born on October 11, 1958, Charlene lived her life with an unwavering commitment to improving the lives of those around her. Her genuine nature and straightforward approach were hallmarks of her character, making her a trusted friend, a valued colleague, and a beloved family member. Charlene had an extraordinary ability to offer both wisdom and encouragement, always seeking to uplift and support others.
Charlene’s professional life was marked by her dedication to service and personal growth. Whether she was mentoring her reports or building relationships with colleagues and customers, her impact was both immediate and lasting. She believed in the power of honest communication and openness, applying these principles in every aspect of her life.
Her kindness extended beyond her work; it was a defining feature of her relationships with family and friends. Charlene’s home was a sanctuary of warmth and generosity, where her advice was always offered with a gentle touch. Her love for her family was evident in every gesture and every word, and her influence will be felt for generations to come.
Charlene is survived by her devoted husband Albert; her five cherished children, Jason, Jesse, Dillon, Dagan and Aliya; and her dear siblings Martin, Arden, Karen, Nigel and Sean; and a network of friends who were touched by her kindness and inspired by her example. She was predeceased by her parents Thomas “Pacas” and Hermina “Lula” Cassimire, her father-in-law Franco Sciamanna and her brother-in-law Gary Sealy.
A memorial service to celebrate Charlene’s life will be held on August 29th 2024, at 10am at St. Julie Billiart Church in Newbury Park. All who knew Charlene are invited to join in honoring her memory and sharing stories of her impactful life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, reflecting Charlene’s profound love for children,
