Joseph Jones Jr.

Born on March 23, 1956, in Kinder, Louisiana, Joseph was the beloved son of Joseph Jones Sr. and Mable Rigmaiden. He had a deep passion for gardening and lawn care, often spending his time nurturing his own garden or helping others with their lawns. His green thumb and generous spirit were well-known by all who knew him.

Joseph also had a fondness for the simple pleasures in life, and he especially enjoyed a cold Miller Lite while relaxing after a day's work.

He is preceded in death by his parents Joseph Jones, Sr. and Mabel Rigmaiden.

Those left the cherish his memory include his sisters, Ella Buckley, Patricia Jones, Beverly Doris, and Betty Lang; his brothers, Floyd Jones, and Charles Jones; his nieces Samantha Deveaux, Stephanie Deveaux,

Kayla Jones, Santanna Tigano, Debra Doriss; his nephew, Cody Jones; his grandnieces, Carolynn, Jayce, Hattie Joe Jones, Brylee Jones, Gabriel Ceazer, Savana Ceazer; his grandnephews, Cayden and Cainan Richard.

The family will welcome the public for visitation at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake Monday, August 19, 2024 from 9 am until time of funeral service at 11 am. Interment will follow at Rigmaiden Cemetery.
