Donnis Trahan

Donnis was a resident of Westlake for most of her life. She enjoyed fishing at the pond with her family and raising her grand dog Skylar. Donnis will be remembered as having a joyful personality and loved sharing memories of her family with her friends.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 53 years, Richard Trahan; children, Kelli Bailey, Rich Trahan, David Trahan and Marjorie Cormier; grandchildren, Jimmie Elliott, Kristy Ferguson, Brittany Smith and Brandon Smith; nephew, Michael Kile; and niece, Lisa Mainer.

She is preceded in death by her parents; children, Colleen Trahan, Lisa Smith and Donna Bodin; and brothers, Doylin Kile and Gene Kile.

The family will welcome relatives and friends at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake on Sunday, June 2, 2024 beginning at 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and will resume at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, June 3, 2024. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home followed by burial at Magnolia Cemetery in Westlake.
