Laurie Margaret Dawson Griffin, aged 68 years, died at home on Sept 23, 2015 in the company of her family. She is lovingly remembered by her mother Catherine Dawson, her children Rhonda (Trevor), Scott (Susan), and Trevor (Lisa) as well as her brother, Grant Dawson. She dearly loved her grandchildren Carter, Carys, Wesley and Oliver and they will fondly remember and miss their 'Purple Grandma'. Laurie is also loved and missed by her nieces Kristi, Nicki, Karen, Kelly and Miranda. She was predeceased by her father Leonard, her brother Craig, and her sister Dale, and we take comfort in knowing she is now reunited with them. A celebration of life will be held at Capilano Golf and Country Club (420 Southborough Drive, West Vancouver) on Friday Oct 2, 2015 from 4-6pm.
