March 10, 1924 - April 10, 2015
Jack Scott, a devoted and loving husband, father,
grandfather and great grandfather passed away at
the age of 91 surrounded by his family. He is
survived by his loving wife Norma, his daughter
Sheridan (Nello), and sons Graham (Bev) and Paul
(Cathryn), four grandchildren, one great grandchild
and his brother, George. Jack was born and raised
in Kitsilano, Served in the RCAF in WWII and married
his wife, Norma, soon after the war. They settled on
the North Shore to raise their family and enjoy an
active family and social life. Jack loved to organize
family camping and fishing trips, neighborhood
games, and bridge with friends. He enjoyed playing
his harmonica and helped instill a deep appreciation
for music in his children. He and Norma enjoyed
extensive travels abroad. Throughout his life, Jack
was always appreciated for his inherent warmth,
honesty and integrity.
The family would like to extend sincere and grateful
thanks to the kind and caring staff at Evergreen
House in North Vancouver. A service will be held at
Hollyburn Funeral Home, 1807 Marine Drive, West
Vancouver, and B.C. on Saturday, April 18th, 2015
at 12pm. A reception will follow.
