Richard attended the University of Utah. He served in the Air Force and National Guard until 1964. His career with Raytheon spanned 33 years. Our father was an unusually talented and service orientated man. Over his lifetime he was a Scout Master, Director of the JCC league and business member where he was coordinator for the Soapbox Derby. He was an avid fisherman, boater, hunter, and carpenter. He left behind chairs, tables, bedroom sets, toys, and library bookshelves for St Francis Xavier School Library. We loved Christmas scavenger hunts to find what Gepeto had created, and so much more for all of us.
He loved music including The Glenn Miller Band, and loved dancing with all of us girls. Richard enjoyed watching John Wayne and war movies, and Fox News until the Doctor said, it was causing too much stress. He appreciated playing cards and games with friends and family, and watching his family grow. He left behind such a vast amount of love, each of us have special memories. He was a member of John the Baptist Catholic Church.
A great BIG Thank You, to the Aids and Nurses with Inspiration Hospice. Your kindness and care was a blessing to all of us.
