Norman Edward Harvey

He attended elementary school near where the family lived in Kearns until they moved to Hunter in West Valley City and graduated from Cyprus High School. He passed away peacefully on June 12, 2023, in Tooele, Utah.

He is survived by his mother, Patricia Harvey, his brother, Steve Harvey (Becky), and his sisters Kenna Davidson (Roger) and Mindy Grange (Richard) as well as close friend Susie Liddiard and many nieces and nephews. He had a special relationship with his uncle Verle.

From a young age, Norm had epilepsy. He faced many health challenges because of that, but he had a strong determination to overcome his obstacles and live a normal, independent life.

Norm liked having a job. He worked in restaurants and then at Jack’s Tire Shop in England Trucking for many years. He had several hobbies, crafts, woodworking, watching westerns and TV classics.

Norman was a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He is preceded in death by his father, Ken Harvey.

An open house celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2023, from 2-5 PM at 4072 South Ivana Street (5460 West) in West Valley City.
