Norma S Anderson age 86 passed away at her home on December 5th 2021. She was born July 21st 1935 in Salt Lake City Utah. She grew up with many siblings but her bond with her sister’s was unbreakable; they were basically triplets. After graduation, she met the love of her life, Phillip J Anderson. They married and resided in Salt Lake City. Soon after, they started a family and had 3 children. Sadly in 1971 her husband passed away unexpectedly.
She worked at Glade Candy Factory as an accountant for many years. After that, she moved to work for First Security Bank . At work she made great friendships that lasted her lifetime and did this until she retired.
She spent her life dedicated to her family as a single mother to her two sons Barry and Joey but most of all her daughter Jenny, which she cared for full time. They shared such a strong and special bond.
She had many great talents. Baking and sewing were just a few. She enjoyed lengthy shopping trips with her sister Patty and best friend Vicki. She also enjoyed gardening and had a green thumb for anything she touched.
We will miss her thoughtfulness ,caring and compassionate energy. We will cherish all the memories, birthdays, weddings, and holidays we shared. You could always count on her to attend any event.
She is preceded In death by her parents, Arthur and Mabel, her husband Phil, sister Donna and brother in law Jack. She is survived by her sister Patty, brother Buddy and Davey. Son’s Barry and Joey. Daughter Jenny . Daughter in laws Tina and Cathy, Granddaughter’s Samantha and Jordan, and great grandchildren Leland and Khloe.
A celebration of life will be held in the coming months to bring all her loved ones together .
