2022 at Jordan Valley Hospital, West Jordan, Utah. He was born October 17, 1940, in Neiafu, Vava’u, Tonga Island to Vaea Taniela Tangitau and ‘Ofa Ki Lomoloma Kiteau.
He was married to the late ‘Elenoa Tu’itavuki in 1963 in Tongatapu, Tonga and had
seven (7) children together.
He married his current wife, Linda Meeks, in 1993 who had four (4) children of her own
and now resides in West Valley, Utah.
He was greatly loved as a Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother and Uncle.
A viewing for Matakaiongo will be held at Valley View Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah 84120, Monday, September 12, 2022 from 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. The Family Service will be from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., followed by the Bishop's Service from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.. Services will conclude at Valley View Memorial Park with a Burial Service On-Site from 2:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m..
