Mary Gallegos Archibeque, age 85 passed away peacefully on January 1, 2021 due to a long illness and COVID- 19. She was born March 17, 1935 in Cebolla, New Mexico to Jose Eulojio Gallegos and Soraida Montano Gallegos. She married Jose Victor Archibeque on April 9, 1951 in Mancos, Colorado who proceeded her in death on April 1, 1999.
Mary loved to love on people. She helped the elderly by driving them to doctor appointments, grocery stores and any place that was needed. She also loved and cared for her grandchildren. The grandchildren share fond memories of going fishing with their grandmother.
For many years Mary worked for Wasatch transportation Utah Schools for the deaf and blind. It suited her servant heart to help the middle school and high school students get to and from school.
Her life was a living example of loving God. And by doing so her priority in life was to help and care for people.
Mary is survived by her children, son, Richard (Kathy) Archibeque; daughter, Jo Landa (Dennis) Vallejo; son, Phil (Jennifer) Archibeque; daughter, Brenda (Leo) Salazar; daughter, LuWanna (Trent) Fitzgerald; son, Pat (Reba) Archibeque. Twenty seven grandchildren; forty three great grandchildren and six great, great grandchildren. All of these she loved and touched dearly.

We’d like to share our sincere gratitude to the staff at Copper Ridge Healthcare for their kindness in caring for our mother during the last year. As well as assisting during moms final last two weeks of required constant nursing care. We'd like to give a special thanks to Jane Del Rio.
