Kaitlyn Ann Keeney

1993 ~ 2013

Kaitlyn Ann Keeney, age 20, returned to her Heavenly Father on November 13, 2013 in Provo, Utah.

Kaitlyn entered the world on April 16, 1993 in Ogden, Utah to her parents, Michael S. and Tina M. Keeney, and from that moment on she was full of life. She attended Copper Hills High School. She was curious about everything! She would astound her parents with questions that we didn’t have the answers for. She thought outside of the box and was accepting and loving to everyone. She was a strong person and defended her beliefs. Kaitlyn was a talented artist and was a commissioned on-line artist. She marched to the beat of her own drum and wasn’t afraid of anything or anyone. She was definitely a night owl and I don’t know what I will do without my night-time buddy. There are no words to express how much we love her! I know she was greeted by Grandma Bennett and enfolded in her loving embrace. Kaitlyn loved unconditionally and we are truly blessed to have had her in our lives. “Fly Free” and know we will be counting the moments until we are together again.

Kaitlyn is survived by her loving parents, Mike and Tina; sister, Kylie and brother, Chase Keeney; grandparents, Earnest E. Bennett, James Keeney and Glenda Keeney; great grandma, Virginia Bayne, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Hazel Bennett; great grandpa, Glen Bayne and great grandma, Marie Keeney.

Graveside Services will be held for Kaitlyn on Monday, November 18, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 W. 4100 So. The family will receive friends at a visitation Sunday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 W. 4100 So., and Monday morning one hour prior to the service at Valley View Funeral Home.
