Joyce Hagen

1945-2014

Our beloved mother, Joyce Fransisca VanderMeide Hagen passed away peacefully August 4, 2014 and is together again with her beloved husband.

She was born May 6, 1945 in Groningen Netherlands to Pieter and Petronella Maria VanZelm VanderMeide she married Raymond "Randy" Hagen on June 9, 1983

Joyce was such an open minded fun loving person and an inspiration to us all. Joyce loved to spend time with her family and really enjoyed going camping and fishing, she loved being up in the mountains. Joyce was always positive and much more,her presence would light up anybodys day even if it was gloomy. She had a big heart and loved everyone the same. She never judged anyone, her door was always open and she was always there with welcoming arms and would never let anyone go without. She was always there to talk to you when you needed her. What a wonderful woman she was. we will all miss her dearly.

She is survived by her four children, Teresa (Dan), Tony(Jeanette) Patricia (Cory) Daniel (Patti) , her ten grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. She is also survived by her Brothers and Sisters, Irma, Evelyn, Pete, John, Robert, Ed and Richard. she held them all very close to her heart.She was a wonderful mother,sister, grandmother, and great grandmother,she loved all her family very much.

Proceeded in death by; Parents, Husband, Jeanette Martinez, Tina and Shane.

Funeral services will be held Friday August 8th,2014 at the Catholic Church (2864 South 9000 West, Magna) for Mass at 10am,then will proceed at Valley View Funeral Home (4335 West 4100 South, WVC) for the viewing and graveside services at 11:30am.
