He was the fourth child out of six children. Chuy was the goofball of our siblings. At random times he would dance or he would break out singing, it was never a dull moment with him. Chuy loved soccer, he started playing at the age of 6 and would say he was "the best of the best."
We’ve learned a lot from Chuy although at times I’m sure he would be frustrated with us not listening. He would show his love in subtle ways, although he wasn’t big on hugging, he would show he cared by giving advice and wanted the best for us. He was a mentor to anyone who would listen, he would often talk about the Bible and give advice to follow the word of God. You will be missed my dear brother. Chuy was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend.
Jesus is survived by his mother Ernestina Tovar and his father Cezario Puerta; his sisters: Flor Puerta, Myra Puerta, and Brenda Puerta; his brothers: Cesar Puerta, and Diego Puerta; and his grandma Refugio Vasquez.
