Jesse Robert Nagel

1929 ~ 2012

Jesse Robert Nagel passed away peacefully on Jan. 28th 2012 in West Jordan at the home of his son Gary and daughter in law Rhonda Nagel. Bob was born July 29th 1929 in Huntley Montana. His mother Olga Nagel married Robert La Bard and together had 8 more boys and 2 girls that affectionately called him “Sonny”. Dec. 2nd 1951 he married Delma Doris Brunmeier in Billings Montana and together had four children, Bob (Casey) Nagel, Gary (Rhonda) Nagel, Dennis (Cindy) Nagel and Sandy (Cliff) Wallgren with 13 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Always a hard worker he spent his time as a farmer, rancher, electronic technician and camper builder owning and operating Kamp Rite Mfg. until retirement in 1996. He had an amazing garden that we all enjoyed. He loved his wife and family and going hunting, fishing and snowmobiling. A member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. Preceded in death by his parents, wife Delma, sister, Mary Meacham and brother Jim La Bard.

Gary and Rhonda, can’t be thanked enough for their tireless care of Pop these last months.

A memorial service will be held at Valley View Funeral Home Chapel, 4335 West 4100 South on Sat. Feb 4th 2012 at 1:00 p.m. Inurnment will follow at Valley View Memorial Park.
