Guy Rickey Riggins
1950-2024
Rick Riggins was born on August 27, 1950 and passed away on February 19, 2024. He served four years in the United States Army. He worked and retired from the U.S. Postal Service as a letter carrier. For many years he had his own roofing business.
Rick was well known by many and loved by even more. He was known for his generosity, brutal honesty, wit and sense of humor. Rick loved his fur babies, riding his Harleys, fishing, golfing, working on older vehicles and so much more. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.
Rick is survived by his wife, Patricia Kelly Thorpe; son, Jesse Riggins; daughters, Jaimie (Larry) Garver, Jenn (Jesse) Hutchman; grandchildren, Thomas, Samatha, Lilly, Kirby; siblings, Vikki, Steve, Bill, Dan, Joe. He is preceded in death by his parents, Delva Doloris Rupert and Clarence Truman Riggins.
A memorial service for Rick will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 11:00am at the LDS Church on 4505 South Brian Way (3420 West) in West Valley City, Utah.
