Born December 14, 1919, Floyd D Bradshaw passed away of natural causes January 16, 2014. His generosity touched the lives of all who knew him. Floyd nurtured us as he did his gardens; beginning many friendships with a sack of fruit or vegetables, while bowls of dried fruit and love drew grandchildren to him. A probation officer for 30 years to many troubled teens, father of nine, foster parent to two more, scout and religious leader, Floyd saw and developed the potential for good in all of us. Nothing was more important to Floyd than building an eternal family. Dancing, kisses at the Old Mill, and shared beliefs grew eternal love between Floyd and Ada Richardson. They were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple March 2, 1945. Teasing, campouts with pine-gum boat patches, testimony, love, and work bound all of his family together. Preceded in death by his wife, Ada Richardson and siblings. Survived by his children, their spouses, and over a hundred grand, great-grand, and great-great-grandchildren. Sons: Dee [Ann], Neal [Virginia], Kim [Sandi], and Donald [Susan]. Daughters: Kathleen Astin [Dennis], Janice Johnson [Duane Arlo], Carol Stott [Larry], Christine Pratt [Scott], and JoLyne Merchant [Cody]. We express our deepest gratitude to the Christine and Scott Pratt family and Carol and Larry Stott, whose watchful care enabled Floyd to remain at home.
