Boyd Lynn Roberts

Boyd Lynn Roberts, our loving son, brother, uncle, grandson, and nephew, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Magna, Utah on January 5, 2016 at the age of 33. He was born on December 31, 1982 to Lynn R. Roberts and Sally V. Anderson Roberts.

Boyd is a very loving, kind, meek, humble, and gentle soul who shared most of his thoughts and words with those people closest to him. He was always willing to help others whenever needed. He was a technical advisor (walking encyclopedia) and all around handyman, helping many people with projects, especially his family. Boyd loved to ride motorcycles, work with various kinds of tools, and spend time outdoors with his family.

Survived by his parents, Sally and Lynn; brother, Roy L. Roberts; sister, Julie (Jared) Crown; nephew, Colby L. Crown; grandparents, Nellie P. Roberts, and Arvid H. and Amy Marlene H. Anderson; several uncles, aunts, and cousins. Preceded in death by his grandfather, Harry D. Roberts.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for a viewing on Monday, January 11, 2016 at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah, from 6:00-8:00 PM. Services will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2016, at 11:00 AM, with a viewing from 10:00-10:45 AM at the Spencer 5th Ward LDS Meeting House, 3830 South 8000 West, Magna, Utah. Interment will be at Valley View Memorial Park, 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah.
