Betsy C Halladay

A true angel has left this reality for a new journey where she will surely have angel wings. Born October 3, 1918 in Portland, Oregon to David L. Carlson and Hannah Sophia Olson. Died January 16, 2016 at her daughters house in South Jordan.

Our mother, grandmother, and great grandmother was always described as sweet and that she was to the very end. She was committed to her family, friends, and church. A faithful member of the LDS church since 1942. Betsy married David J. Halladay May 13, 1941.

She leaves behind three sons; Norm (Letty), Dean (Judy), Lynn (Sharon), and one daughter; Sandra (Frank). Also survived by 19 grandchildren, 60 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother; David W. Carlson and two great granddaughters; Holly Ann and Jana Dee.

Thank you to Diane Tanner for her devoted friendship to our mother. A special thank you for the loving care she received at Golden Living Care Center and Brighton Hospice, Lori and Whitney.

Service will be held on January 23, 2016 at 1 :00 p.m. at the LDS Church, 1510 West Parliament Avenue (3940 South). Also a visitation will be held prior to the service at 11:45-12:45 p.m. Interment at Valley View Memorial Park.
