Viola T. Hippert

Viola T. (nee Berich) Hippert, of West Seneca, entered into rest on December 1, 2023 at age 98. Beloved wife of the late Erwin J. Hippert; devoted mother of Susan (David) Lord and the late Jean Marie (late Thomas) McDonald; cherished grandmother of Theresa McDonald, Daniel (Carolyn) McDonald, Jeffrey (Nancy) McDonald, Bernadette Lord, Courtney Lord and the late Timothy McDonald; adored great-grandmother of Joanna Jean, Walter Jackson Ponce and Timothy McDonald; loving daughter of the late Eli and late Mildred (nee Pejakovich) Berich; dear sister of the late Nicholas Berich and the late Julia (late Reuben) Simich; also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends may visit HOY FUNERAL HOME, 3855 Seneca St., West Seneca, on Thursday (December 7, 2023) from 4-8pm where a Pomen Service will be held at 5pm. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at St. Stephen's Serbian Orthodox Church, 177 Weber Rd., Lackawanna, on Friday (December 8, 2023) at 10am. Interment Lakeside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Viola's memory may be made to St. Stephen's Serbian Orthodox Church or the Hospice Foundation of WNY.
