Russell Greifzu

Russell Elmo Greifzu was born July 2, 1934 to Johan Frederick and Elma Helen (Cox) Greifzu and left this life May 14, 2018, leaving a wife Doris Mae Greifzu; a daughter, Debrah (Jim) Stover; four sons: Daniel (Kathy), James Richard, Brett and Bart Griefzu; also leaving eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, with three more great-grandchildren on the way. Preceding him in death were his parents; four brothers: John, George, Ed, and Ralph; one sister, Helen Adams; great-grandson, Brantley Charles Greifzu; and his step-dad, Oscar Baker.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 18, 2018 from 2 to 3 p.m. at Ingram Funeral Home in West Salem, IL. The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. at the funeral home with burial to follow at McKendree Cemetery in Mt. Erie.

Russell will be dressed casually so attenders are asked to do the same.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Marion Christian Church, and envelopes will be available at the service.
