Paul Charles Bremer

Paul C. Bremer of Palm Beach Gardens passed away peacefully at home November 26, 2021, at the age of 78 after a decline in health over the past several years. He will be forever remembered as a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, a pillar of service in the community, and a widely respected leader with a servant’s heart.

Born May 4, 1943, in Queens, NY, Paul relocated to Lake Worth, FL in 1947 after his father made the ultimate sacrifice for our country in WWII. He graduated Lake Worth High School in 1961, Palm Beach Junior College in 1963 (where he met his future wife, Barbara), and Stetson University in 1965. After Stetson, Paul joined Callaway, Carpenter & May. The firm was acquired by what would later become Ernst & Young, where Paul was a Partner until his retirement in 2000. He then served as a Director of the Marshall E. Rinker, Sr. Foundation, and as Administrator of the David and Leighan Rinker Foundation and Paradox Properties, Inc. He was also a Director of Fidelity Bank & Trust. As an avid golfer, Paul was a member of Bear Lakes Country Club and the Country Club of Sapphire Valley in NC.

Many organizations benefitted from Paul’s service in various leadership roles including The Honda Classic (where he served as President for eight years), Children’s Healthcare Charity, Inc., Nicklaus Children’s Health Care Foundation, Palm Beach Atlantic University, American Heart Association (Palm Beach County), American WWII Orphans Network (AWON), West Palm Beach Library Foundation, Kiwanis Club of West Palm Beach, Economic Council of Palm Beach County, West Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce, and Bear Lakes Country Club.

Paul is survived by his wife of 56 years, Barbara Frostic Bremer, two beloved daughters, Debbie Bremer Pullon (Steve Pullon) of Tequesta, and Linda Bremer Graham (Jeff Graham) of Atlanta, and three grandchildren whom he adored, Alton Garrett Pullon, Noah William Pullon, and Grace Anne Graham.

A celebration of life service is planned for 2:00 PM, December 5, 2021, at First Presbyterian Church of North Palm Beach, followed by a reception in Fellowship Hall. Given Paul’s dislike of wearing ties, the service will be tie-optional. A private graveside service will be held for family.
