Linda R Keller

LINDA RUTH KELLER passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 after a short battle with cancer. Linda was born on January 11, 1949 in Brooklyn, New York to Peter and Beatrice Piotrowski. Linda began her career as a legal secretary in West Palm Beach in the 1970's and was hired at the law firm of Keller & Keroff in 1977 (which went on to become Keller, Keller & Caracuzzo, P.A. in 2000), where she would ultimately retire from in 2013. During her long career as a legal secretary, Linda was very active in the legal secretary society of which she became president of and served multiple terms. Linda also was very proud of her education and thus she went to Palm Beach Community College and obtained her paralegal degree in the early 1980's, graduating with honors. Her passions in life were playing bingo and spending time with her dogs Max, Oreo and Buttons. On February 5, 1986 she married her only husband, Wayne F Keller. Wayne and Linda were married for 16 years until Wayne too died of cancer on April 9, 2002. The years Linda and Wayne were married were the happiest time of Linda’s life. Linda is survived by her nephew Scott Keller, his wife Janna Keller and her great nieces Kate and Molly Keller, Linda was also honored to be Molly’s God Mother. She is also survived by her brother in law Craig Keller and his wife Rosemary Keller. She also will be missed by her friends Stacey and Ron who came over and spent quality time with her until she passed.

The Keller family would like to thank Hospice of Palm Beach County ( Trustbridge) and Annie Byrd without whose help, Linda most surely would not have been able to have her last wish of dying in her home made possible. Annie took great care of Linda for the last 5 years of her life and she was Linda’s friend was well as her care taker.

A Service will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at 3:00 p.m., at Royal Palm Funeral Home, 5601 Greenwood Ave., West Palm Beach, FL 33407. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Palm Beach Area Chapter, 4360 Northlake Boulevard, Suite 109, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33410.
