Krissie was born on April 16th, 1979 to Bonnie and Adams Weaver in West Palm Beach, FL where she grew up and lived as an adult. She was the younger sister to Katharine (Kate) Weaver Finkel. She is survived by her parents, sister, nieces Annie and Maggie, her extended family, and many dear friends.
Krissie was an educator — a favorite teacher and tutor to many children. Krissie’s radiant smile and big heart brought joy to all she met. She had THE BEST sense of humor and lit up countless rooms with her laughter and quick wit. She was gorgeous on the inside and out, with a kind heart and playful spirit. She was through and through a devoted Gator fan. Swimming in the Ichetucknee Springs and a tube down the river brought her total peace. She loved Michael Jordan, Dylan McKay, and Archie Double Digests. She left this world much too early, but she lived more life—had more fun and spread more love and laughter—than most of us ever will, even if we live to be 100.
Krissie received her degree in education from Florida Atlantic University where she graduated summa cum laude.
There isn’t enough space here to list all of the dear friends and family in her “caravan” but she will be waiting to welcome us to the pool party in heaven where the grilled cheese is delicious and music and laughter are guaranteed.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 16th at 11:00am at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 211 Trinity Place, West Palm Beach, FL, followed by a reception in the Parish Hall. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, www.holytrinitywpb.org in Krissie’s name.
