To the Pastors, Elders, Members, Friends and Well Wishers of the Palm Springs SDA church, who loved and cared for the Picarts while they were in your fellowship;
We the family members wish to register our profound gratitude and heartfelt appreciation to all.
We deeply regret that circumstances beyond our control prevent us from joining you physically in celebrating the life of our dear Hyacinth Picart.  That was a life so well lived.  Your kindness and deeds of love have been registered in heaven and your reward is assured.

When my only brother Hubert married Hyacinth, (affectionately P, and Cynth), almost 70 years ago, she became the Sister I never had.  I truly believe that was a match made in heaven.  The relationship between us as sisters was great – never a harsh word between us. Hubert and Cynth lived happily together until Hubert predeceased her by approximately 9 months.

Cynth will always be remembered as the loving, lovable, caring, kind soul she was.

Her passing has created a void in all our hearts that only our steadfast hope in the soon return of our Lord Jesus can fill.  We live in anticipation of that glorious event when loved ones will be reunited forever

Until then, may Hyacinth, Cynth, Sis. P. Rest in Peace

Rest in peace Aunt Cinth.  We all loved you dearly and it’s sad to see you go.  🙏🏾

Those of us who were fortunate to have known cousin Hyacinth can appreciate how much this amazing woman will be missed.
My wife and I feel so lucky to have spent some quality time with her over the past 8 years where we learned many valuable life lessons. 
Hyacinth, you will be missed, but your life stories with its love for family, challenges, successes and blessings will live in our hearts.

I will always cherish the memories made and the little stories of our departed loved ones that connected us to our family roots forever. My sorrel will never taste quite like yours, Aunty, but I will have an everlasting smile whenever I see a pitcher of sorrel and a big spoon to stir.  Sleep in eternal peace and send our love to Uncle P.  Our cherished elders are reunited.

Although this was my last memory in July, Aunty Cynth was also part of my earliest memories in England. As a toddler, I still remember visiting her and Uncle P's shop in Birmingham, many years later, it would be her visits to Jamaica that made the memories. As a person, I found her to be kind, honest and earnest, a hard worker and someone who was strong in her faith. May her soul rest in peace.

My dear beloved Aunt Cynth,
May the winds of heaven blow softly in your ear, whispering how much we love and miss you. 
A void has been left in my life that will never be filled. 
You were always there for all of us over many decades,  helping, supporting, encouraging and guiding.
