Gloria Joan Simpson Graham, 88, of Manalapan, Florida, surrounded by family in her home, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 27, 2021. Gloria, daughter of Morris Burnside Simpson and Evelyn Charlotte (Fels) Simpson, was born in Hammond, Indiana in 1932. Playing Bridge and spending time with her family brought Gloria true happiness. An angel in every sense of the word, she brought love, compassion, and grace to everyone she encountered.
Gloria married the love of her life and high school sweetheart, William J. Graham, Jr., and celebrated 67 years of marriage in June. Bill and Gloria moved from Munster, Indiana to South Florida in 1972, where they were self-employed commercial real estate investors. Their partnership continues to set an example of love, loyalty, and happiness for our family.
Gloria leaves her husband, William J. Graham, Jr.; two daughters, Kim Graham (Ralph Lay) of Tampa and Kelly Poyner (Bobby) of Wellington; four sons, Mark (Diane) of Dunedin, William (Carol) and Carter (Jerian) of Wellington, and Christopher (Kristy) of Lake Worth; 16 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to participate in a Catholic Mass of Remembrance which will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, April 6th at St. Rita’s Catholic Church, 13645 Paddock Drive in Wellington.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation, in Gloria’s name, to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, stjude.org/memorial.
