Carole Beth Feldman passed away peacefully on July 10, 2024, at the age of 87, surrounded by her loving family in West Palm Beach, Florida. She was a devoted mother to her children, James Fyfe, Susan Fyfe, and John Fyfe, and was also a devoted mother-in-law to her daughter-in-law Justine Neville-Fyfe. She was also a cherished grandmother to Joan, John and Justin Fyfe, and Ryan Hiller. Carole was preceded in death by her youngest child, John Frederick Fyfe.
Born to William Feldman and Elizabeth Kern on May 29, 1937, in Nazareth, PA, Carole grew up alongside her siblings Frederick (Fritz) Feldman, Gloria Redline, and Joseph Feldman. She graduated Nazareth High School in 1955 and later married Lawrence (Larry) Fyfe, with whom she raised her family in Easton, PA. After a divorce, she returned to Nazareth, where she worked as a dedicated executive secretary at Pocono Medical Center for over 20 years until her retirement at the age of 61.
In her retirement years, Carole moved to Virginia to live with her daughter and grandson before settling in West Palm Beach, Florida. She was a pillar of strength and love in her family, actively involved in the lives of her grandchildren, including providing bible lessons, huge cheers for sporting activities, and guidance, love, and support. Known affectionately as Grandma Carole, she was a mainstay at family gatherings, always bringing her famous homemade chocolate cake and sharing her warmth, humor, and wisdom with all.
Despite facing numerous health challenges in her later years, including surgeries and accidents, Carole remained resilient and maintained a positive outlook. Surrounded by her family, friends, and faith, she found comfort and peace in her final days. Her unwavering faith and the support of her family, Pastor Michael Breznen, his wife Diane, and dear friends Janice and husband Ben Shelden brought solace and spiritual strength to her.
A celebration of Carole's life will be held on July 17, with visitation at 3:00 pm and the service at 4:00 pm at Quattlebaum Funeral Home, 6411 Parker Ave., West Palm Beach, FL 33405. There will be a small reception immediately following the service at Quattlebaum Funeral Home. A burial at Greenwood Cemetery in Nazareth, PA, next to her beloved son John and ex-husband Larry, will take place at a future date.
Carole Beth Feldman will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her love, kindness, and enduring legacy of family devotion and faith.
