Carmen Tatum

Carmen Tatum, age 81 of West Palm Beach, Florida passed away peacefully on March 28, 2011 with her loving family by her bedside. She went home to join the Angels in Heaven and has joined her fraternal twin, Enriqueta "Pi" Powery in Heaven. Carmen was born on March 2, 1930 in Havana, Cuba to the late Juan March and the late Carmen (nee Rodriguez) March. She moved to South Florida in 1960 coming from Havana, Cuba. Carmen loved to Tango, watch Soap Operas (Novellas) and take care of her precious grandchildren. Survivors include her loving husband of 62 years, John R. Tatum, her loving son, Roland Tatum, her three adored grandchildren; John R. Tatum, Eric A. Tatum and Christopher S. Tatum, two precious great grandchildren; Gabriela and Alexa and her two favorite brothers; Juan & Jose March. Carmen will be forever remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and best friend to those whom she cared for and loved! Carmen's family will be accepting visitors from 1:00PM - 2:00PM (service time), Thursday, March 31, 2011 at Mizell Faville Zern Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 6411 Parker Ave., West Palm Beach, FL. A Celebration of Life Service for Carmen will be held 2:00PM on Thursday, March 31, 2011 at the funeral home with the Reverend Father Jose Crucet from St. Juliana Catholic Church the celebrant. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park, 6411 Parker Ave., West Palm Beach, FL 33405.
