Mrs. Anna Jane Test Hewitt

Jane Hewitt, age 91 of West Palm Beach, Florida went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at Hospice of Palm Beach County (Gerstenberg Center) with her loving daughter by her side. Mrs. Hewitt was born in Haggerstown, Indiana on November 6, 1918 to the late, Everett Cecil Test and Adia P. (nee Ballard) Test. She moved to the South Florida area in 1950 with her late husband, Eldon Hewitt. Jane was also preceded in death by one of her children, Michael Hewitt and her grandson, Mark S. Roode. Mrs. Hewitt loved to travel by motor home and see the sights and was an avid bowler as well. She loved attending her church, The First Baptist Church of West Palm Beach for Sunday morning services and fellowship after church.

She is survived by her brother, Gene Test and Ellie, his wife, of Bartow, FL; her daughter, Ann Roode of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; her grandson, Alan E. Roode, of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, her great grandson, Mark S. Roode and Tatjana, his wife, of El Cajon, CA; her great granddaughter, Heather Badal and Ashton, her husband, of Stone Mountain, GA; her great grandson, David Alan Roode of Palm Beach Gardens, FL and their mother, Dawn Roode of Wellington, FL; and her great great grandson, Daniel Badal of Stone Mountain, GA.

Friends and family are welcome to attend a Graveside Service at 10AM on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at Lake Worth Memory Gardens, 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth, FL with Pastor Bill Keith officiating.
