Aaron William Andryka, age 44, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, passed away unexpectedly at his home on November 11, 2024. Born on December 31, 1979, in DuBois, Pennsylvania, Aaron was the beloved son of William Andryka and the late Betsy Vokes.
Aaron’s journey through life was marked by an unwavering passion for both the culinary arts and his family. After graduating from Penn State University with a Bachelor’s degree in English, he furthered his education at the Culinary Institute of Pittsburgh, earning a degree from Le Cordon Bleu. His culinary career took off at the prestigious Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs before moving on to the Isle Casino in Denver. Aaron’s talent and dedication found a home in Florida, where he spent the majority of his career as the Director of Food and Beverage at the Isle Casino in Pompano Beach. Throughout his career, Aaron earned numerous awards and accolades for his exceptional skill and dedication to the craft of cuisine.
Aaron married Courtney Jordan, on November 11, 2009, in Key West, Florida. Together, they shared a love that was evident to all who knew them. Their pride and joy, their son Cole, was the light of Aaron’s life.
Aaron is preceded in death by his mother, Betsy Andryka. He is survived by his wife, Courtney; son, Cole; and his father, William Andryka.
A private service will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2024, to celebrate Aaron’s life.
Aaron’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him, especially for his kind spirit, love of life, and exceptional talent. He leaves behind a legacy of excellence in both his personal and professional life.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Aaron’s name to a charity that supports culinary education or a cause close to his heart.
Rest in peace, Aaron. You will be deeply missed.
