Ronald Le Pera, 84, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on November 7, 2022 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston.
Ronny was born and raised in West Des Moines/Valley Junction and graduated from Valley High School in 1956. He retired from Meredith Publishing as a press operator manager. Ronny was an avid Iowa Hawkeye and Chicago Cubs fan and loved classic cars. He also loved gardening and collecting.
Left to cherish his memory is his brother Francis Le Pera, nephew Larry (Kathy) Le Pera, nieces Renee (Kurt) Strand and Lisa (Jim) Green, and many other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents, Al and Marilyn Le Pera, and brother Jerry Le Pera.
Private services will be held and entombment will be at Resthaven Mausoleum.
